TandemFandom: A Fandom People Finding App
Description
A fully functioning user friendly web application designed for those seeking to match users with similar interests by their specific fandom. Users can use application to find love, friendship, network, etc. in a safe and responsive environment.
TandomFandom is MERN stack app, was made combining a Node.js/Express.js server with a React front-end. The back-end also includes MongoDB with GraphQL. Furthermore, JWT was used to implement authentication for all users.
Deployment
TandemFandem is deployed on Heroku at: https://tandemfandom.herokuapp.com/
Installation
To run the app locally, clone the repository to your local development environment. Run npm install to install all dependencies. Source both the schema in MySQL. In a command terminal, navigate to the correct directory and first seed the application by running the command ‘npm run build’ and then start the server using the command ‘npm start’.
